Whew! That's A Lot Of Work....

I imagine that most of you might have guessed by now that I work a normal day job aside from my creative interest here at The Pixie Knoll. Let's face it, we all have to live in reality every once in a while...not to mention the fact that we do have life to live on top of that! So, as a result, it seems to take me longer to get anything productive done. If I could pick and chose, I would rather be creating all of the time, as any artist would wish for, but alas, that is not so in my tiny world. At least, not at this moment. :-) So, in the meantime, I keep plugging away at my daily chores until which time I can savor a moment or two for creative endeavors.

When I began this journey a month ago, I had no idea how long this process of moving my domain and website to a new service provider would take, let alone re-loading everything AND adding the additional feature of the shopping carts for an e-commerce site; which meant weighing everything and gathering the box sizes for shipping, etc. It's a process...let me assure you, and when you only have a small amount of time to devote to putting it all together, it really does seem like it takes forever. However, the bright side of this down time is the fact that once it is all completed, it will be absolutely fabulous and a lot less work to maintain, and hopefully a better shopping experience for all of you. With that said, I am still in the process of loading my products on to the website. The good news is that I have finished loading the pixies and fairies I currently have available...the bad news is that I have decided to wait a bit longer before I release it to all of you. :-P Right now, I am in the process of loading up my Halloween items. Once I have completed that, most likely I will turn on all of my available pages for your shopping pleasure. :-D

Please keep in mind that the Professional Doll Makers Art Guild ( PDMAG) will be holding their first ever online convention soon. As a result, I have designed a "special" page on my website that will ONLY be available for the show dates. The dates of the show are October 15 - 18, 2020. The page will only be accessible from the PDMAG's website. Once we get closer to the show dates, I will post a link to the PDMAG site so you can see all of the participating artist and have that information handy to purchase collectible items from the artist who are participating. Be sure to mark your calendars for this fun event!

And, on that note, it's time to get back to work! I will see you all again soon...

A Left-Over Christmas Miracle...

A lack of creative output from an artist is usually indicative by the factors surrounding their lives; I am no different in this collective. As some of you may already know, my poor cat, Snickers, dev
